Zoomandkicken Fastest To Winter

Sunland Park, NM - Dec. 10, 2011 - Hector Ramirez’s Zoomandkicken
dominated the third of five trials to set the fastest qualifying
time to the $135,608 Sunland Park Winter Quarter Horse Futurity on
Saturday afternoon at the track near El Paso.
Zoomandkicken scored his fourth win in his latest six starts — to go
with a pair of second-place efforts — by racing the 400 yards in
:19.361 to win by one-and-one-quarter lengths as the 3-5 favorite.
Ricky Ramirez was in the saddle for trainer Trey Wood.
A gelded son of Azoom, Zoomandkicken continued his superbly
consistent race record with his sixth win from 12 outs and four
runner-up efforts. He has seconds in the Dash For Cash Derby and the
Adequan Ruidoso Derby Challenge for his highest stakes finishes.
