Portland Meadows XpressBet
Jockey Challenge cancelled
Portland, OR. - Nov. 27, 2010 - The 2nd Annual XpressBet Jockey Challenge at
Portland Meadows scheduled for Monday November 29th has been cancelled due to
the Southern California riders refusing to make the trip up. The Jockey
Challenge was slated to be a four race challenge series covering races 4 through
7 on the Portland Meadows Monday Card.
“We’re extremely disappointed in the riders from Southern California making the
decision not to come up,” said Portland Meadows Assistant General Manager Jerry

to the event.”
Portland Meadows will continue on as planned with the Monday card, which will
feature a 10 race program with first post at 12:40pm PST.
