Sissis Little Nipper rolls in the Directors Handicap

Portland, OR—Jan. 16, 2012 - Sissis Little Nipper has quickly become arguably the top Quarter Horse on the grounds as he once again romped in today’s $8,800 Directors Handicap at Portland Meadows.

Sent off as the even money favorite, Sissis Little Nipper and Tad Skaggs broke in just a touch, but they got clear early, went down to the rail and never looked back as they opened up late to win by a length and a quarter. Sissis Little Nipper has now finished first in his last five starts, however he was disqualified from one of those wins.

Sissis Little Nipper is owned and trained by Juan C. Sanguino who is putting together a tremendous season, hitting at over 23% and is just one win behind Hector Magallanes in the Leading Quarter Horse Trainer Standings.

Sissis Little Nipper completed the 350 yards in 18.14 seconds and returned $4.20 for the win.
