La Mos Chingono Gets Up in Party Girl
BOSSIER CITY, LA - Feb. 4, 2012 - Oscar Rohne’s La Mos Chingono, the
2-5 favorite, gave his supporters flashes of anxiety, however came
through in the final 100 yards to take the $40,000 Party Girl Stakes
over 350 yards for Louisiana-bred fillies and mares.
Jockey John Hamilton rode La Mos Chingono to the expanding neck win
in :17.491 for the 350 yards.
La Mos Chingono led a one-two sweep by offspring of Heza Fast Dash
in the Party Girl. She Is A Fast Dash finished second in search of
her third-straight win.
Bigmeanrunningmachine was third in the field of five females.
The Kenneth Roberts-trained La Mos Chingono found class relief in
the Party Girl Stakes after making two starts against male
Louisiana-breds. In her previous start she finished second in the
Louisiana Champions Day Classic by a neck at 11-1 odds.
The Party Girl Stakes was her first win in more than 14 months when
she took the Who Dat Derby at Fair Grounds. While winless from five
starts last year, she placed in three stakes.
