Dynamite Is Fastest Hialeah Lassie Futurity Qualifier
Hialeah, FL Dec. 10, 2011 - Shes
Jess Dynamite, a brown daughter of FDD Dynasty racing for Gene
White, Russ Heydenreich, Wayne Metcalf, and Jerry Cate, is the
fastest qualifier for the December 26, $186,220 Hialeah Lassie
Futurity at Hialeah Park.
On Saturday, Shes Jess Dynamite
won the last of four trials by a neck from second-fastest qualifier
Eyema Special Candy. Ridden by Patrick Watson for trainer Joseph
Manucy, the filly covered 400 yards in :19.556 while earning a 93
speed index and her third victory in six starts.
Shes Jess Dynamite's dam, the
11-year-old Mr Jess Perry mare Shes Jess Special, won the 2003
Vinton Stakes (RG3) for Louisiana-breds at Delta Downs.
Eyema Special Candy was stakes
placed twice during the Remington Park spring meet, and she ran
second, one length behind winner Cruzin The Wagon, in the September
30, $229,300 Valley Junction Futurity (G3) at Prairie Meadows. The
black filly by Oak Tree Special is owned by Ray Allen Smart and
trained by Stacy Charette-Hill.
