What our readers say about SureBet - 2008

SureBet Racing News - Company Overview

Founders of SureBet started out with one mission in mind: promoting the New Mexico horse racing industry through news and editorial focused on racing and the participants in the state of New Mexico.  Due to the nature of the horse racing industry our scope of SureBet’s mission changed quickly to include our neighboring states. The popularity of our website and the many requests from our web readers again bring the need to change the mission of SureBet Racing News: to provide information from every state west of the Mississippi and make it universally accessible and useful.

Website

When you visit www.surebetracingnews.com, you will find the latest racing news, headlines, human interest stories, top notch images, stallion information, sales new and updates, helpful links and much more. SureBet Racing News is a subscription-based publication. Delivered weekly to over 300,000 readers per month.

Ads

As a business, SureBet generates the majority of its revenue by offering advertisers measurable, cost-effective and highly relevant advertising, so that the ads are useful to the people who see them as well as to the advertisers who run them.

Hundreds of advertisers have used us as a vehicle to promote their products and services on our website as well as in our downloadable weekly E-Pub. As a result, readers see ads that are useful and relevant to our industry.

In July of 2009 we added a sister site – inthegate.net – with in-depth video interviews from major racing events.

Growth

SureBet print product launched in July of 2007. To date we have expanded our print product and web presence from news and information with a single-state focus to multi-state coverage. As a result we have enjoyed immense growth in a difficult economy. Our print product has seen a 11% increase in sales in 2009 over 2008 and our website has shown immense growth in readership. [see below] As of June 15, 2010 SureBet Racing News changed our format from a monthly magazine to a weekly E-Newspaper.

The road ahead

A lot has changed since the first copy of SureBet rolled off the presses. We have grown in spite of our industry’s economic difficulties. We now reach thousands of readers around the world. But one thing hasn’t changed: our dedication to the horseracing industry and the men and women who call it home.
