Wyoming's lone horse racing track did not apply to
run live races this year and chose not to renew its
off-track betting permit, the company's president
said Thursday. The decision means Wyoming — which
once averaged 16 races annually — could go another
year without a live horse race. It also ended
simulcast betting, which had been available since
1989. |

simulcast signal from Churchill Downs from being
