Jess Jones to Will Woods Farm for 2012 season

SULPHUR SPRINGS, TX—Sept. 22, 2011—J.D. Anderson's multiple track record setter Jess Jones will stand his first season at stud in 2012 at Will Woods Farm, near Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Trained by Monty Brooks, this multiple grade 3 winning Oklahoma Hi-Point Aged Stallion (twice) has won or placed in 15 of 32 starts, earning $164,159.

Jess Jones won the SLM Big Daddy Stakes(G3), Paul's Valley Handicap(G3), Oklahoma Centennial Stakes and Expo Square Stakes and was a finalists in the Remington Park Invitational Championship(G1), Remington Park Distance Handicap(G3) Fair Meadows Maturity(G3), etc.

Jess Jones set two track records one at Remington Park track record for 660 yards in :32.373 seconds and a 870 yard track record at Will Rogers Downs in : 44.290 seconds. The bay stallion recorded speed indexes from 90 to 114 at 250, 330, 350, 400, 440, 550, 660 and 870 yards.

Jess Jones is by the leading living AQHA Sire of Money Earners Mr Jess Perry and a complete out-cross to Dash For Cash and First Down Dash mares.

He is out of the stakes-placed All American Futurity(G1) finalist Disco Del Rey, by Disco Jerry(TB). He is a half-brother to stakes winners Dash Del Rey ($92,170), Fast Del Rey ($58,608) and stakes placed Runaway Del Rey ($26,672) and 2011 Remington Park Futurity runner-up Folly Del Rey ($135,528 at 2).
