TOBA New Owners Seminar at Portland Meadows on Wednesday March 23rd

Portland, OR- March 6, 2011 - The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association will be hosting a New Owners Seminar at Portland Meadows on Wednesday March 23rd. The event will offer up some great insights and information for folks who are looking at becoming owners of Thoroughbred race horses.

The event will go from 8:00am to 12:30pm and then everyone will attend the races that afternoon, first post is at 12:40pm.

The seminar will include discussions on topics such as how to build a racing stable, owner and trainer communication, common veterinary concerns, accounting and insurance issues, understanding a racing partnership and much more.

March 23rd is also the running of the $50,000 Portland Mile and the $30,000 Portland Meadows Derby.
