First Down will stand the 2012 season at James Ranch near Wayne, Oklahoma. His

The son of all-time leading sire First Down Dash has sired 90 winners, 10 stakes
winners, 10 stakes-placed from five crops to race. With earnings of more than
$2.4 million, his get included grade 1 Rainbow Futurity runner-up Possum Fust
($299,308); grade 2 winner Sweet Macho; grade 3 winners A Sweet Gamble, I Am
That and Missourian; Remington Park Juvenile winner Smokin Bye You; Black Gold

Owned by the Sweet First Down Syndicate, the grade 1 placed stallion won or
placed in nine of 16 career starts, earning $146,374. He was third in the Texas
Classic Derby(G1) and a finalist in the Ruidoso Futurity(G1), Windy City
Dash(G3), Two Rivers Stakes(G3), Eastex Handicap(G3), etc.
Sweet First Down's dam is the grade 2 winning Zevi (TB) mare Sweet Bye And Bye
($324,563), dam of four stakes winner including grade 1 winner Dashin Bye
