Grade 1 Sire Quick Action to New
Mexico
BOSQUE, NM—Sept. 13, 2011—Quick Action (TB), sire of 2010 Los Alamitos Two
Million winner One Quick First Down, will stand the 2012 season at TNL Farm,
Inc. near Bosque, New Mexico.
The stakes winning son of Carson City is the sire of 11 winners and two stakes
winners from a limited number of Quarter Horse race starters in three crops.
They have earned more than $950,000 with average earnings per starter of nearly
$40,000. His foals include the aforementioned grade 1 winner One Quick First
Down (2 wins at 2, $821,669) and Black Gold 300 Futurity winner Shez Quick To
Ramble (4 wins at 2, $47,979).
Owned by Chris Duke and Vessels Stallion Farm, LLC, Quick Action won four races,
$192,130, including the Fred Cappy Capossela Stakes and Anderson Fowler Stakes.
He was second in the grade 3 Lafayette Stakes and Whirlaway Stakes.
Out of a Stormbird (TB) mare, he is a brother to grade 3 winner Palanka City
($388,220). His second dam is a full sister to grade 2 stakes winners Panco
Villa ($596,734) and Terlingua ($223,896), the dam of leading Thoroughbred sire
Storm Cat.
