Fasig-Tipton Texas Under-Tack Show

Grand Prairie, TX - April 03, 2011 - A filly by Flashy Bull and a filly by Kafwain tied for the fastest one-furlong drill at :10.20 at Sunday’s under-tack show for the Fasig-Tipton Texas two-year-olds in training sale at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, Texas.

The Kafwain filly drilled an eighth of a mile in :10.20 for consignor Pike Racing, agent. The bay filly is out of stakes-placed winner Upside, by Unaccounted For.

Later during the breeze show, the Flashy Bull filly equaled the top one-furlong time. Consigned by Twin Oaks Training Center, agent, the gray or roan filly is out of the winning High Yield mare Destiny’s Yield.

A filly by Leestown turned in the fastest quarter-mile workout, covering the distance in :22.80 for consignor Bobby Dodd, agent. The dark bay or brown filly is out of the stakes-winning Regal Search mare Chic Anita.

The sale is slated to begin at 10 a.m. CDT on Tuesday with 167 two-year-olds cataloged for the one-day sale.
