Everyday Heroes to Stand in

Roswell, NM - August 27, 2011 - Grade III stakes winner Everyday Heroes has been
retired from racing and will enter stud at Dr. Kevin Blach’s South Springs
Stallion Station in Roswell, N.M.
Everyday Heroes, a 5-year-old Kentucky-bred horse by Awesome Again out of the
Dayjur mare Lucette, won the first four starts of his career in 2009. He capped
off that run with an easy victory that threatened the track record in the
six-furlong Hirsch Jacobs Stakes (gr. III) at Pimlico Race Course.
He also won the John B. Moseley Stakes at Suffolk Downs in 2010, and in 2011
raced in the United Arab Emirates for Godolphin.
Lucette is a half sister to Baby Zip, who produced champion Ghostzapper and City
Zip , both stallions.
Everyday Heroes retires with five wins in 13 starts for earnings of $240,500.
His introductory stud fee is $1,500.
