NEW YORK OTB’S UNABLETO REACH AGREEMENT FOR SIMULCASTING - WAGERING
IS ENCOURAGED THROUGH ALTERNATIVE OUTLETS VINTON, LA. – Jan. 11, 2012 - Delta Downs Racetrack Casino & Hotel and New York OTB’s have been unable to reach an agreement for simulcasting of live racing from Vinton, Louisiana in 2012. Delta Downs, and its parent company Boyd Gaming, regret the inconvenience this may cause for its race fans across the state of New York. Wagering on Delta Downs will remain available at New York Racing Association, Saratoga Raceway and Yonkers Raceway. All race fans are encouraged to visit one of these locations or participate through an approved Advance Deposit Wagering company, so they may enjoy the excitement and challenge of playing the races at Delta Downs via simulcast. Delta Downs is in the midst of its 2011-2012 Thoroughbred Season, which continues through March 17. Live racing takes place every Wednesday through Saturday night with first post time each evening scheduled for 5:45 p.m. CST.
