Pomona, CA - Feb. 12, 2011 - Barretts sales company in Californian has cataloged 105 horses for the March Select Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training on March 21.

The catalog is 28 per cent smaller than than last year when 134 were entered. Of the 100 horses that made it to the ring, 69 were sold led by a $475,000 of Unbridled's Song sold to Narvick International. Although the aggregate dropped just 0.5 per cent to $6,255,000, the average suffered, falling 26.5 per cent to $90,652.

The auction will be held March 21 in the Hinds Pavilion, which is located on the grounds of Fairplex Park in Southern California. The auction will begin at 7 p.m. (PDT), which is a change from the sale’s usual afternoon starting time.

The under tack show is scheduled for March 18 at the Fairplex racetrack, which is adjacent to the Barretts sale complex. It will begin at 10 a.m.

Among those entered are two-year-olds by leading sires such as A.P. Indy, Candy Ride, Congrats, Indian Charlie, Malibu Moon, More Than Ready, Street Cry, Street Sense, and Tale of the Cat.
