108 Cataloged in May Sale at Barretts Twice the Appeal, a $35,000 purchase last year at Barretts' May Sale (Hip 157), stamped his ticket for the Kentucky Derby-G1 with a break through 1½ length victory in $800,000 Sunland Derby-G3 at 1 1/8 miles. This year's May sale has cataloged 108 horses for the 2-year-olds in training and older horses of racing age. The auction will be held May 16 in the Hinds Pavilion, which is located on the grounds of Fairplex Park in Southern California. The under tack show for the sale is scheduled for May 13 and will start at 10 a.m. at Fairplex. Stallions with offspring in the auction include Awesome Again , Candy Ride , Congrats , Corinthian , Distorted Humor , Empire Maker, Hard Spun , Harlan's Holiday , Medaglia d'Oro , Pomeroy , Stevie Wonderboy , Stormy Atlantic , Unbridled's Song , and War Front .
