131 Cataloged for Fasig-Tipton
Texas Mixed Sale
Nov. 18, 2011 - Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 131 lots
for its Texas December mixed sale. The number is up 4.8% from last
year’s total of 125 lots.
Tim Boyce, sales director for Fasig-Tipton’s southwest division,
announced that 131 head have been catalogued for the Texas December
Mixed Sale, to be held from 12 noon on Monday, December 12 at the
company’s Lone Star Park headquarters near Dallas.
“Over one third of our 80-plus mares are black-type producers,”
noted Boyce, “with several in foal to Valid Expectations, our
perennially-leading sire in these parts. “We have a large number of
Louisiana-bred weanlings, which will be popular with local
pinhookers and end users."
"There are also a dozen or so active horses of racing age in the
catalog. Given several lucrative winter racing programs in our area,
these horses are sure to find plenty of action.”
