Streaking Hayley's Halo Tops Entries to Zia Park Distaff

Hobbs, NM, Nov. 24, 2011 - A field
of nine fillies and mares, including the streaking
Hayley's Halo, will go to the post in Saturday's
6-furlong, $55,000 Zia Park Distaff Stakes at Zia Park.
A homebred 4-year-old filly by Sea
Of Secrets racing for Lathrop G. Hoffman and trained by
Henry Dominguez, Hayley's Halo has won four consecutive
races and eight of her last nine dating back to April
16, 2010. The filly will be making her first start since
October 2, when she scored a three-quarter length
victory in the 1-mile, $60,000 Chaves County Stakes at
Zia.
All told, Hayley's Halo has won 10
of her 19 outs including seven stakes and she has
banked $332,060 while racing in California and New
Mexico.
The Zia Park Distaff marks the
first start outside California for Chalula One. A
homebred 5-year-old Bertrando mare owned by Ralph and
Aury Todd, Chalula One won the 6 1/2-furlong, $50,000
Bangles & Beads Stakes at Fairplex Park on September 23.
