She Is A Fast Dash comes off a win against open
distaffers to take on Louisiana-bred females when trying
for her third-straight win in the $40,000 Party Girl
Stakes over 350 yards on Saturday at Louisiana Downs.
She Is A Fast Dash (Heza Fast Dash-Style N Grace by
Fishers Dash) surprised at 15-1 odds when she stepped up
against open company to win the $20,000 Harrah’s Dash on
January 7. She secured her first stakes win by a neck in
:17.80 for the 350 yards.
The mare raced to a neck win over 220 yards at
Evangeline Downs two starts ago. She got up at the wire
to win with a :11.86 time at 16-1 odds.
Oscar Rohne’s La Mos Chingono (Heza Fast Dash-Rita
Regenty by Gold Regent (TB)) faces female rivals for the
first time in three starts and impressed against the
boys in her latest start, the Louisiana Champions Day
Classic (RG2). The Kenny Roberts-trained mare finished
just a neck behind Louisiana Wrangler in the 440-yard
race on December 10.
While winless last year, she placed in three stakes and
has been on the board in 10 of 12 career starts.
Sergio Lozano’s Dash For Alexis (Dashin Bye-Kdwantsafastone
by Mr Eye Opener) was the fifth-place runner in the
Louisiana Champions Day Classic and won a 440-yard
